What Happens If It Doesn't Work Out?
Our guarantee, how it works, and why the real safeguard comes long before it.
It is a fair question to ask before you hire, and a sign of a serious agency that it has a real answer. Most placements last; ours stay an average of more than five years. But a firm should stand behind its work, and ours does, with the longest guarantee in the childcare and household placement industry.
We guarantee full-time placements for one full year. If, within that year of the agreed start date, a placement proves unsuitable for performance-based reasons, we will conduct a replacement search on your behalf at no additional placement fee. Where most agencies offer thirty, sixty, or ninety days, we offer twelve months, because we are confident in how we select, and because a one-year commitment keeps our interest aligned with yours: a placement that genuinely lasts.
It is worth being clear about how the guarantee works, so there are no surprises. It is a replacement guarantee, our commitment to find you the right person, rather than a refund. It applies when a signed work agreement and the placement fee are in place before the start date, covers one replacement candidate, and the replacement search is of the same scope as the original, the comparable role, hours, and location. We move promptly on a replacement. The guarantee applies to full-time placements.
A related question families raise is what parting ways actually involves on the employment side, notice, final pay, and the like. Those particulars depend on your work agreement and on state and local law, which is exactly why we help structure a clear written agreement at the outset, so that expectations on both sides are settled before anyone begins. For the specifics of ending an employment relationship, your agreement and a qualified professional should guide you.
The most honest thing we can say about the guarantee, though, is that it is the backstop, not the plan. The real protection is everything that happens before a placement: a brief defined with care, candidates recruited to it precisely, and a vetting process rigorous enough that fewer than 1 in 10 applicants is ever accepted. Do that part well, and it rarely comes to the guarantee at all. At Nannies + more…®, it is the standard behind every search we conduct.
